Hey! I’m Albina, and I’m 18 years old. I was born and raised in Tallinn, Estonia. Growing up here has been pretty cool – it’s like having one foot in this ancient, fairytale-like Old Town with cobblestone streets, and the other in a super digital, startup-friendly city. I just graduated from high school last spring, and honestly, I’m in that “figuring it out” phase. Right now, I’m taking a gap year, working part-time at a cozy little café in the Kalamaja district (the best pastries, by the way!). I’m saving up money and trying to decide if I want to study graphic design or cultural anthropology at university next year. My life is basically a mix of long, dark winters spent reading books and creating digital art, and magical, endless summer nights by the Baltic Sea with my friends.

Oh, there’s so much! First of all, my friends. Our little squad is everything. We love exploring abandoned Soviet-era buildings (it’s a whole vibe here) and then going for a swim in the lake. Music festivals! Especially the ones in Estonia during summer, like Intsikurmu or Positivus in Latvia. It feels like the whole country is celebrating the light.
